Based on the writings of Gerald of Wales.
Gerald was a Twelfth Century churchman who travelled through Wales in 1188 trying to drum up support for the crusades. He wrote an account of his journey and gave it the catchy title The Journey Through Wales/The Description of Wales. The story of Elidyr,which apparently happened in Swansea, was one of the many myths uncovered by Gerald on his quest. This comic also includes two bonus strips from Gerald’s Rough Guide To 12th Century Wales: Soothsayers and Hair and Teeth!
