Sorry about the long patch of silence...been working hard. More on that to come. In the meantime, here's a recent cartoon I did for Electric Sheep Magazine, the theme being convoluted film titles...
Improving your German through yoga
I recently drew a cartoon for U Berlin, a blog about Berlin life for two English expats. The article was produced together with Be My Guest, who offer short stay Berlin apartments. You can read it in full here. As you might guess, it's about finding unconventional ways to improve your German!
Noo stuff
This week's Unstruck is about the Noosphere...
Shhh!
Return to Planet Unstruck
My return to fold this week is marked by this effort.
Little guys talking to big guys and stuff
Two of my most recent efforts for Unstruck. Somehow they ended up being quite similar! These are my last for a few weeks, whilst I concentrate on other long term projects.
In other news, despite the phenomenal support of everyone who voted for me, I still didn't quite manage to make the final top ten of the Create In Brighton comp. However, a massive THANK YOU must go out to all of you who supported my work, you're all fantastic human beings. I'll try and figure out some lovely way of rewarding you soon.
Not like that.
Is it ever a good idea to google your symptoms?
Daydreaming...
Pareidolia
Dunno what it means? Neither did I until I read this week's Unstruck.
Furry futures
This week's Unstruck. Nice to get back to basics and just go with a scanned illustration 'as is'. Bring on our mighty moggy overlords, that's what I say.
Hey Pal!
A bad talking pen gag for this week's Unstruck.
Finally famous
My illustration for this week's Unstruck. This might be my last post for a week or so...so I guess I should say Merry Christmas everyone! Try not to get on the news like this guy.
Utensil Wars
This week's Unstruck. More playing with collage elements. Not sure if it's as successful this time, possibly because the initial drawing is a bit clumsy and overworked. Still, I'm enjoying trying out these new techniques.
Go West
This week's Unstruck! All about Barry Island. And a serial killer. Got a very positive response for this pic so might try and incorporate more collage/photoshoppery in future works.
Psychedelic poems
This week's Unstruck. It's all about poetry. Tried to translate the work of Elizabeth Bishop into the drawing, hence the psychedelic doodle. Would probably plan the swirly bits better if I were to do it again but quite excited by the potential of doing more work in this vein.
Crappy Christmas..
Back on the Unstruck horse..
Heels of horror
Unstruck from last week. Last one for a few weeks whilst I get some other projects done. But will keep posting things here as they happen!
What kind of ancestors would play a game like this?
Little people do stuff
Two of my better recent contributions to Unstruck. Top one: Is it all about education? Underneath: Do two rights make a wrong?
