Jaime is a cartoonist/illustrator working and living in Brighton.
He has just completed the artwork for Illustrated Orwell: Such, Such Were the Joys with writer Sean Michael Wilson, to be published by New Internationalist in 2021 and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
In 2015 he completed the illustrations for the graphic novel app Think Like Churchill (published for iPhone/iPad by Touchpress), in which the reader is asked to step into the wartime leader’s shoes.
His other work includes Makers of Monsters (with writer Mark Pembrey), Off the Rails (published in Brighton: The Graphic Novel and written by Rob Simpson), and The Afanc… a web comic about a lake monster who looks suspiciously like a beaver.
Recent work includes a piece for the next volume of Russ Kick’s The Graphic Canon, a comics anthology published by Seven Stories Press, New York.
You can often find Jaime exhibiting at indie comics events up and down the UK or running various comics related workshops in the Brighton area.
