Hi, my name’s Jaime and I’m a cartoonist/illustrator based in Worthing, West Sussex.
I recently worked on the George Orwell adaptation Such, Such Were the Joys: A Graphic Novel with writer Sean Michael Wilson, which was published by Pluto Press in August 2021 and supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
Other works include lo-fi supernatural crime series DROWSE (with Frank Verano and Nick Klinger), a comic about the history of The General Federation of Trade Unions (also with Sean Michael Wilson), plus the interactive graphic novel app Think Like Churchill (published for iPhone/iPad by Touchpress), in which the reader is asked to step into the wartime leader’s shoes.
Past projects include: G Bear & Jammo (read the Broken Frontier review here), Makers of Monsters (with writer Mark Pembrey), Off the Rails (published in Brighton: The Graphic Novel and written by Rob Simpson), and The Afanc… a web comic about a lake monster who looks suspiciously like a beaver.
You can often find me exhibiting at indie comics events up and down the UK or running various comics related workshops in the Brighton area.
